In between producing participatory artworks, I put time and energy into the other things that I engage in professionally to make a living. These include writing and teaching at the university level, and different kinds of consulting and facilitation work.

I have a long track record of doing high level research and project management work; have taken on many important and unusual editorial and production projects; and frequently do creative advising for individuals and organizations as they try to advance the conceptual sharpness of their work or to expand their levels of cultural sensitivity.

Collectively, everything I do can be thought of as ‘doula’ work for things that are not (literal) children. Though I can certainly tighten the language of an idea or organize the steps of a project or find a resource or perspective that helps you move something forward with more clarity and grounding, overall I can help you take a thing you have in progress or want to produce and get you and it ready to emerge into the world together.
