Tired of doing Human Things all the time? Come do Worm Things with Dirty Time!
As a part of an August 2026 residency at Swale House on Governors Island organized by Urban Soils Institute and ecoartspace, Dirty Time hosted a short pop-up exhibition for two weekends featuring a Glory Wormhole; an opportunity to do some Full Body Worming; and Tongue Toys, in an immersive “underground” worm liar, vibrating with a soundtrack of scrabbly rocks and soil. All of these were sketches/workshopping towards a future project in process, Worm Play, which walks the fine line between vermicomposting and BDSM.
Dirty Time (Hey There Kapplow & Walker Tufts) operates at the intersection of dirt, time and queerness.
